‘Working with Children’ Checks
To work with children whether in a face-to-face, paid, self-employed or voluntary capacity, must have a current working with children check. This check involves a national police check (criminal history record check) and a review of reportable workplace misconduct. The outcome of this check is either a clearance to work with children, or a bar against working with children. Accordingly, in order to register with Our Child Care as a care provider, you will need to submit the relevant documentation which shows you hold formal clearance to work with children.
